Prof. Simone van der Hof
Simone van der Hof is the head of the Center for Law and Digital Technologies (eLaw) at Leiden Law School and the programme director of the Master of Laws Advanced Studies programme in Law and Digital Technologies. Common thread in her research and education is the influence of technology on the rights of individuals in various capacities (e.g. citizen, child and consumer) and the interaction between legal, technical and social regulation in safeguarding and strengthening their position. In her recent research she focuses particularly on children's rights and digital technologies, an area in which she also teaches various (advanced) master courses.
