Prof. Serge Rombouts
Serge A.R.B. Rombouts is a professor of cognitive neuroimaging methods at the Radiology department of the Leiden University Medical Center and the Psychology Institute of the Faculty of Social Sciences. He received, among others, an NWO-ZonMW Veni, Vidi and Vici grant.
Rombouts' course is about cognitive neuroimaging in brain science. Cognitive neuroimaging is the field of imaging the brain with brain scans, and tries to relate the structure or dynamics that are visible on the scan to processes such as thinking and learning. This applies to both normally functioning brains and brain disorders.
