Mr Dr Lamber Royakkers
Lambèr Royakkers is an associate professor in the ethics of technology. He studied Philosophy and Social Sciences, Technical Mathematics , and Law. He received his PhD at the Tilburg University. His dissertation was on the formalisation of normative rules with deontic logic. His research has an interdisciplinary character and is on the interface between ethics, law and technology (especially robotics). The main contribution in his research is to deal with the ethical and legal dilemmas/problems which have been leveraging by modern technology (robotics).

Humanitarian logistics for refugee work
New digital technologies provide social and economic opportunities for the logistics of accommodating refugees. The researchers are developing an expert system to optimise the logistics process in a socially responsible manner, taking into account the ethical and social aspects and the interests of all stakeholders.
